Tshepi Soul

Tshepiso “Tshepi Soul” Manyaapelo, previously known as Swanky RSA, is a Cape Town-based artist with a background in the corporate sector. Her mind is a vault of knowledge, which passes her on to being considered more than just a pretty face, but also a formidable voice in the entertainment space.

Tshepi Soul is self-taught in hosting events, TV presenting, vlogging, radio presenting, and content creating. Her hunger to grow and learn more about the industry landed her a pro DJ certificate from DJ Zinhle’s Fuse Academy and music production from Bridges of Music Academy.

Through her DJing, in February 2018 she became a Strawberry Lips ambassador. She has also graced us with her music on Hectic Nine 9 – a youth show on SABC 2, and on Bush Radio – Cape Town’s biggest community radio station. She got her first presenting gig on the Facebook live streaming music show entitled The Evolution Room.

In 2018, she bagged her first radio presenting gig co-hosting the drive-time show KDB Avenue from 3 to 6 on IQhayiya FM, a community radio station in Cape Town, from Monday to Friday. When her contract with the station ended, she started her own Facebook Audio Live show, titled The Swanky Show, after one show she received an opportunity to train in Radio Broadcasting with UCT radio.

She co-hosted a Friday show titled The Zone with uMzondi from 7 pm to 10 pm, and later hosted and produced her own show, Ladies Night with Swanky, that aired on the station from 7 pm to 10 pm every Wednesday. Her last radio gig was with GUGS FM on the Celebville Show, where she chatted about all things celebrity from 2 pm to 6 pm, every Saturday.

When covid hit hard for many, she created two self-titled shows. The Swanky Chats on Facebook Live is a platform she used to empower and promote women’s empowerment. For gags and entertainment, she created The Scoop with Swanky on Instagram TV, a tabloid show about celebrities that focuses more on her comedic side.
