The Dean Of Soul is also known simply as Dj Dean in some circles. He is quintessentially the purveyor of soul music in its entirety with over 20 years of experience, having been DJ-ing at countless Clubs and Events in notable major cities around the world. The name Dean Of Soul is synonymous among his peers and soul enthusiasts with the genre and its sub-genres ranging from Adult Contemporary, Soul, Rn’B, Neo-Soul, Nu-Soul, Nu-Jazz, Psychedelic and all kinds of ‘Old Skool’ music. He loves the idea of being an underground DJ and caters to an upmarket, and upwardly mobile clientele who know and understand their music. He also can quickly adapt to a wide range of events and parties such as elegant weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and company functions. The Dean Of Soul started a project on multiple platforms of promoting and sharing soul music through the group he initiated, Soul Sophistocrats. He has also worked and collaborated on projects with like-minded individuals from all over the world who share the same vision and sound, ie NeoSoul café (US), Soul Commune (UK), ISSM (US), Musiqave.com (UK), SoulCandi and Cape Town Soul Community (SA).
